Real Or Artificial Plants In The Décor?

When it comes to decorating or a redesign of our home’s living areas, we spend many hours going over what we like and want. The sad thing is that when it comes to planning out which plants will work where and what will look best, we don’t give it a thought until the last minute, if then. In many cases the last minute thing does not work and we end up having to spend more time and possibly more money. It is sad that plants around the home are appearing to be a dying trend. Attention and time is required so that the plants will survive from week to week and not become has-beens.

Maybe not at the beginning of the planning of a décor should you think of the plants, but it sure shouldn’t be at the end. You need to decide if you we want to put in the extra labor of keeping the live plants alive or would it be much better to have artificial plants, at least in some of the harder to grow areas. When it comes to having to spend needless money on replacing plants, most people will opt for the longer term of savings and silk plants. With the trunks of silk trees being natural trunks, it is hard to, in many cases, to tell the real from the artificial trees unless the live one is dead. Having plants around us in our homes gives us a wonderful relaxing feeling and we deserve that comfort.

The atmosphere that is presented in public places such as doctor offices, banks, restaurants etc. is very important to make people feel comfortable and having a sense of welcome. Creating this atmosphere is pretty easy to accomplish with some good planning and maybe some research on interior decorating. Wall colors will help brighten the doctor’s office along with the bank but maybe in a restaurant for wanting to have a romantic setting you can get away with a little darker color.

With all the different settings that are important to each and every business, one thing in décor should be present and that is having plants and flowers decorating the area. In most of these areas, there is also room for a few trees. All of these plants can work together to give the customers a very comfortable feeling while in the establishment. More and more businesses are finding that making the decision to go with silk plants is a very smart decision because it makes the décor complete and it also makes the bottom line look better. Silk trees on natural trunks are so beautiful and, with silk flowering plants that complement the wall colors or colors in the furniture, it is a big plus for your silk plant decor. Check out the lasting beauty that artificial plants can do for your interior, and you won’t be sorry.

Good Planning For The Atmosphere Using Artificial Plants And Trees

Getting the direction that you want to go in decorating the office or even the home décor is very important to having a successful outcome. Maybe even doing a few rough drawing to where the furniture could be placed even down to the plants and their placement. How will traffic flow and are there some areas that you want to guide people and what placement of furniture or plants will help in doing that. What kind of sunlight is available or not available and what kind of plants are best that will survive? Maybe the atmosphere will not work when it comes to live plants surviving. So what can you do at that point?

If you are talking about an office area, you want to make sure that it is efficient and the décor is something that will work economically and make your clients/customers feel welcomed and relaxed. Basically, a home is just about the same except you want a living atmosphere compared to a working atmosphere. You really should consider silk trees and silk plants with a touch of color to brighten the area. These artificial plants are very realistic, and over a rather short period of time, they are very economical. A great silk tree to use besides the ever-popular silk ficus tree is a silk palm tree. There are several species with different fullness so that the space will not be taken up needlessly. You want your area to be comfortable, in either case, of the home or office but you want your office to be very efficient. Take a close look at quality silk trees and silk plants online and you will find many choices that may work for you and your decorating project.

Brighten The Work Place With Colorful Silk Flowering Plants

The atmosphere in home and working environments is very important as scientific studies have shown. There is more than one way to create the atmosphere, but one thing for certain comes to the forefront more than anything and that is having plants and flowers decorating the décor. When it comes to the workplace, décor flora can become labor intensive more than most workplaces want it to. Live flora needs to be watered and sometimes trimmed and fed or sprayed to keep them looking good and alive. A plant service will take care of that for you but, of course, there is a fee and in some cases, that is more than the bottom line likes to see.

Solving this small problem is not all that hard to do. It is just that some people, as of now, have not been able to accept the fact that artificial plants and silk flower arrangements are a good substitute. I am willing to bet that they have come across many plants, in places they have been, that are artificial and they didn’t realize it. If silk plants can make the employees feel more comfortable along with the clients that frequent the establishment, it also will help the profitability of the business. I say it is a win- win situation. Silk flowering plants give both good colors and much needed greenery for the décor. So fix up that work place and bring in comfort and more smiles on everyone’s faces.

Compact Decorating Helped By Hanging Silk Plants

It makes no difference if you live in a small apartment or if you live in a large 3,000 square foot home when it comes to making it feel comfortable and homey. In a small area, you have to use lots of space saving ideas and keep things together and organized. Making the smaller living quarters work for a couple takes imagination but color and textures are still very important. Also decorating with plants and having that relaxing décor cannot be left behind.

When you have a large space, you can have lots more plant décor such as trees, medium size plants and larger arrangements; while in the apartment you may be able to have a hanging plant or two or a very narrow tree. Making the choice of having silk plants in a smaller area may be the wise choice due to controlling the size of the plant and not having to worry about it outgrowing the area. Hanging silk flowers help add greenery and color while saving on floor space and can be used on a covered patio for added decorations. So you still need to decorate but have to do it in a smaller compact way and with artificial plants you have less maintenance to worry about.

Really Caring For Your Artificial Plants

You have seen many artificial trees in different places such as stores, dentist office, on the Internet, etc. Some of them are used in stores for decoration looking very artificial and down right ugly, to say the least. There could be a couple of reasons for it looking so bad and (1) is that it has not been taken care of in the proper manner for a long time and (2) it is a cheap ugly tree. Just like any kind of product, there is good quality and, yep, bad quality too.

One of the reasons that people get silk trees for any décor is because it is a good way to complete a décor, which gives the decor a warm relaxed feeling. Another reason silk trees are so popular is because it saves financial expenditures and is easy to maintain over time. The one thing that people fail to do when they clean silk plants is to pay attention to how the plant looks after the cleaning. Are the branches and leaves arranged to look natural or does it look like a mattress was lying against it? If you were smart enough to buy the beautiful artificial plants, then be proud enough to keep them in shape. It is not that hard and by arranging the leaves and branches, it only takes a couple of minutes and won’t fall into the category of ugly.

Why is it that we put a large number of plants or trees in our interior designs? In most cases they are the finishing touches that bring the whole interior together. Second, plants and trees have a way of relaxing our minds, which lets us cope with our everyday busy schedules. The question that many people have had over the past few years is, do I continue with keeping up the maintenance of the live flora such as watering, pruning and picking off dead leaves, or do I make the change to artificial plants which require no pruning, watering or picking up of dead parts.

You may have seen it said a few times that silk plant and silk flowers can save time and money over a short period of time but have not taken that plunge for some reason or other. I know that it takes us time to be convinced of something that is, or was, out of the norm. Artificial plants are, and are becoming, more popular for several reasons. Two of the top reasons being that (1) they are so damn real looking and (2) many people have to touch and smell to make sure and that they give us a little freedom from much of the maintenance that was needed with the live flora. Oh don’t be mistaken. You will need to dust them and, if some leaves get out of position, it will only help by putting them back into place to keep up the wonderful realism that is available with today’s silk plants and silk trees. So take a closer look at the quality of artificial plants that are available. A good place to look is, without a doubt, on the internet.

We know that many people have heard of silk plants before, but many of them drew up conclusions to their final thoughts several years ago. Since that time, they have not looked at them; or did they? I would almost bet that in many cases, they have seen them but mistook them for real plants. Now with that happening, you can rest assured that this has happened over and over again.

This speaks load of the realism that has been achieved by the industry today. The construction of the pedals on the beautiful silk flowers and the greenery of the leaves on the silk trees and silk plants are by far extra ordinary. When people have come in and watered that silk plant or silk tree, that is the biggest complement artificial plants could ever obtain. This has happened more times than you might think. If you are in the group of people that have not taken a closer look at the beautiful world of silk plants and what they can do for your interior be it the home or workplace, don’t wait any longer! There are so many ways that they can be a benefit to you and your interior.

Silk Plants Will Help When Decorating Or Redecorating

When a person is decorating or redecorating a home, the main thing they want to do is setting the mood properly. This takes textures, colors, furniture and, of course, styles to give the room the desired mood. If you use natural tones along with textures to bring this room together, you will need greenery to bring life to the room. One of the first thing you need to be concerned about with greenery and live flora is where the sunlight is and will that be enough to keep the greenery alive. Maybe it would be best to invest in artificial plants so that the maintenance and worries of watering along with sunlight will not be a problem.

What kind of atmosphere do you want? Is it a tropical feel with maybe a silk palm tree and a couple of small tropical silk flowers setting the mood or is it going the way of a dessert theme? That can be done with a nice size real touch Yucca silk plant and maybe a nice container of Grass w/Mini Cattails silk plant. With the quality that is available in silk plants and silk trees, you can rest assured that the first time you have guests over, they will not believe that the plants are not real.
