The home can be small or large when it comes to hanging plants, which adds great décor without intruding upon other decorative pieces. Making the choice of having silk plants in a smaller area may be the wise choice due to controlling the size of the plant and not having to worry about it outgrowing the area. So you still need to decorate but have to do it in a smaller compact way and with artificial plants you have less maintenance to worry about.
There are very few in this world that don’t have some kind of barbecue pit or cooking device on the patio. This just comes along with summer and fun relaxing evenings or weekend family gatherings. Being able to get together with others helps build friendships and an invite to their next barbecue. The décor that you have in your business is very important and it does speak loud and clear to the majority of your customers in one way or another. Yes, depending on what kind of business you have, it could mean more to you to have a décor that is appealing and makes your clients/customers (or whatever you want to call them) feel at home and very comfortable. When you do have that kind of décor, you will end up calling your clients/customers “your profit partners”. When your customers feel relaxed and comfortable in your business, they will not mind spending a little more money and, above all, they will feel like coming back again and again.
The reason I am on this subject is that my wife and myself entered a restaurant that really reminded us of being in the 1950’s. The red and white paint inside and out along with the booths and counter stools and some pictures on the walls gave us that feeling. The only thing was, that it was not a warm feeling at all because there were no plants of any kind there making it a very cold feeling. Looking around, they had plenty of places that plants could have fit very nicely and add a much warmer feeling to one’s dinning experience. There was plenty of room on ledges between some booths in the middle for potted plants, which would give the customers a little more privacy with their meal. Ok, maybe live plants are too much to handle and I agree. So the next best thing is to get silk plants and silk flower arrangements to add warmth and a relaxing feeling during the meal for the guests. There were several places they could have used silk hanging flowers, which would be out of the way of anyone’s heads, etc. I am willing to wager that all their dining customers would enjoy the warmth and a little more relaxing décor. Take a closer look at your own business. It just might help the bottom line!
As my uncle experienced when he lived in a condo in Colorado and had his winter home in Arizona, it was hard to keep up with the landscaping and interior plant décor. In Arizona, he did have the landscaping but for those of you that know Arizona’s desert flora, he didn’t have a hard time because he (in his words) smartened up and used artificial plants.
He was used to doing that on the interior in both places, but when he found that there were such beautiful silk topiaries, he put several around the front of his little cottage and 3 or 4 at the back patio. Four of the silk topiaries were put into nice urns and the others were planted right into the ground and you couldn’t tell that they were artificial at all. This gave him peace of mind knowing they would be there when he would return the next year and they would be in good shape. The back patio was his favorite place to sit in the evening. To add a little color, he used a couple of hanging silk flowers for an added touch of elegance. As he would say, I want to save money while looking good doing it and the silk plants sure do the job.

In today’s world, we have become so busy with work, church, home, children and their school activities that very little time is left to turn around. At home we have many things there that can keep us busy with just the general housework not to mention taking care of the yard, (yes, front and back) and doing repair upkeep because we want everything to be in decent shape. When we bought the home, we got it with the pool because that was going to be a place where we could relax in our own little kingdom. The main thing the pool did for us was to add more chores on the list and less time to relax.
Taking care of the yard and the plants also takes lots of time and if we don’t do that, more leave etc. will end up in the pool. So to help with that part, we switched some of the plants around the pool area to some nice silk topiary trees. Our family thought that the silk topiaries looked so nice and even after almost two years, they are looking and doing great. That move there helped to cut down maintenance time in the back; and this year I am going to take care of the front with some other silk plants like those in the back. I had put a couple of hanging silk plants on the patio and I have two places on the front porch that will be good to put that except I think I will get hanging silk flowers this time. I can switch them back and forth and I like that idea. If you want to cut back on your chores at home, that is one way you can do it.

There is a vast amount of different types of silk plants in different sizes that can be used in any home and in many areas.
