So, you are in the process of redecorating your space and you have gotten almost everything done, except that you’re going to purchase artificial plants to help bring in a nice relaxing feeling to the complete décor. Why have you made the decision to go with silk plants instead of some live plants? The reason was that you did not want some of the furniture in jeopardy of getting ruined due to water and moisture and besides that, there is a lack of good sunlight to help nourish any live flora. You were at one time so much against using any kind of silk plants, so why the change? Oh, yes those were the times of plastic, shiny and real ugly artificial plants and now it is hard to tell the difference so much of the time between live and artificial plants.

When it comes to such items as silk floor plants, there are some awesome plants that are what you call real touch silk plants. You just can’t believe that they are not real. I know you like real stuff and if that is not a good choice, then go with the realistic looking silk flora. Now, I know you didn’t get these beautiful silk plants at your local thrift shop or at the big store that has everything in the world in it except top quality in most items. Oh yes, they have silk flowers there and they are a cheap price only because they are cheap looking plants. There are some local retail places that have some good quality and there are some very good online stores to get the quality you want and their prices are better than retail stores. Yes, these places have silk trees on natural trunks along with excellent silk flowering plants for beautiful color that will fit most any décor.

Creating a much needed sanctuary away from the stresses in our lives, begins by simply having a nice silk arrangement. Maybe, some nice spring silk flowers and maybe a silk bamboo tree which is part of the décor goes a long way in helping calm your nerves. Using your imagination and the creative talents within yourself, you can create the atmosphere in your décor with silk plants that will help give you the relaxing sanctuary. With nice bright color in some silk flowering plants intermingling with silk floor plants, such as silk trees and mid-size silk plants sitting in you’re personally picked containers, will add depth to your décor.

In your search for these artificial plants and silk trees we suggest that you take your time and do some research on the particular silk plants you are looking for. First of all, you want to check for the looks of quality and the realism. After getting that done, then you can compare prices; but by all means, do not go for price over anything else. You will not be happy in the long run and you want the elegance and beauty of these plants to last. Visit some local retail stores and then there are some nice choices online that should give you a full range of options. Remember, you might pay a couple of more dollars for quality, but the elegance and beauty of these silk plants will last a lot longer.

Using Artificial Trees In The Functional Decor

When it gets down to decorating the interior of the home or the workplace, one of the first things you want to make sure of is that it is functional and that the space is used properly. If you are just moving into the home or office or if you are re-doing the décor or just adding some items, it is important that the space works all together. Good lighting is very important also so you want to use the windows to your advantage. If you have live plants that need sunlight, you will need to work around that. But if you are in the masses of people that are switching to artificial plants, the lighting for them is not all that important unless you want to enhance the look of the silk plant.

There are several reasons why so many people are now using artificial plants over live flora. Some of the reasons are 1). No green thumb. 2). Time involved in maintaining the plants. 3). Cost of replacing dying plants. 4). Allergies that occurs in many of our lives. You may have other reasons for the switch. But the one thing in common with most of us is that these silk plants that are being produced in today’s market is just outstanding in capturing the full essence of the natural plants. Silk trees on natural trunks look like they are live and real. With minimal care, these beauties will last for many years and look good the full time. So, going from the smallest hanging silk plants to the mid-size silk floor plants or the biggest silk palm trees, the decorating possibilities of artificial plants are awesome, to say the least.

Filling The Gap With Silk Plants Of Several Kinds

What a wonderful thing it is to have a garden with plenty of flowers with which you can also decorate the inside of your home. It is a great feeling to have the flowers sharing their beauty with us even as we know they only last for a very few days and then it is wilting time. If your garden is a large one, you can replenish your cut flower arrangements many times; but, then it soon dies out because those flowers don’t bloom all year round. Now when that happens, all we have is some empty places in our décor all except for the insects that came in with those flowers and they stay around longer than the flowers did.

I’m not against live flowers because there are those times when they are very important. For those of you with the large gardens, you will come up with the times you need something else. And, for those who have small or no gardens, you can also use artificial plants to take up the job of sharing the floral beauty in the homes. There are those places in our homes that we don’t have the proper sun light for live plants or even trees, for that matter; and with that in mind, silk plants and silk trees sure can come in handy. Silk décor trees and silk floor plants can serve a large need in a vast majority of homes or offices. Nature is great. But when that is not available, there is an excellent alternative available.

Why Silk Plants May Be Better For You Than Live Plants

The other day, while in the waiting room waiting for a doctor’s appointment, I was looking through a magazine which covered such things as home activities for mothers. I came across a short article talking about bringing in outdoors and decorating with live plants. One of the things that it said, was when the flowering plants start to wilt, you will need to go to the nursery and pick up some new plants and that you should look for the plants that are on sale to help save money.

Now, that saving money thing is important to many people and it will normally be the deciding factor in many of our purchases. Don’t get me wrong because I do believe that if you have the time to care for the live plants which includes watering, plant food, trimming and spraying for insects, go for it. But for people like me that are on the go, with commuting to work and other activities, not to mention that I just don’t have a green thumb, I rely on the silk flowering plants that work very well for our décor and atmosphere. Another plus for these silk plants is that the maintenance is less time consuming and pretty easy. I have silk flowering trees along with silk floor plants and silk hanging baskets. This is a plus for me and I am sure there are many thousands more people out there just like me. So take a close look at the wonderful and elegant world of silk plants.

Before most people make a decision on buying something that has to do with the décor of home or office, they want to make sure they are making the right decision. This means that you might be gathering information about: The items you that you are interested in; what they can do for our personal situation; and how long it will/could last. It is no different when it comes to shopping for artificial plants. You will want to compare these artificial plants to other items that will, or you could use, to occupy the same positions in your décor. In this case, you would undoubtedly compare the silk plants to live plants. Now, be sure to compare apples to apples (well, plant to plant) anyway.

Lots of people like to have plants in their home or office such as trees or taller floor plants. By all means, these same items are available in the artificial floor plants and the artificial silk trees. Questions you might ask could be: 1). Do artificial plants attract insects like live plants do? 2). Do silk trees need water and plant food? 3). Do the silk plants cause fewer problems with the allergies? 4). Will silk trees outlast live trees? 5). How long will these silk trees last? Well, let me answer that right now. I really don’t know how long they will last, but I have one tree that is a little over 25 years old and still looks great. It is a flowering silk tree and has been moved about 5 times to new homes and I’m not ashamed to show it any time. All in all everyone has to understand why so many people are using silk floor plants. After answering the questions stated above, you will know why you will be wise to make that switch yourself.

What Is The Difference In Quality?

When people talk about quality of product, there can be several meanings among all the people. Everyone wants the best, but again, there can be several levels of what is called the best. Then, people don’t want to pay for quality; and then in most cases they get what they pay for. When it comes to artificial plants and flowers it is no different. You can find very poor quality and get it at a good price and what you have done is spent $.50 for junk that won’t last and the leaves and pedals are falling apart in a matter of months. You could have spent $1.50 for the quality and have it last for 10 years or more and that ends up costing you much less over time than what you paid for the junk.

The vast majority of these artificial plants such as silk trees, silk floor plants and silk flowers are used to put the finishing touch on our décor in our homes. It just makes so much sense to me to use the best quality that over time is going to cost me less than….. (well you know what I mean). That is like buying clothes that have only single stiches and within a very short time you are exposing something that you really wanted to keep private. With quality silk plants decorating your home, you will be proud to show them off anytime and your atmosphere will be nothing but the best you can have.

Completing The Décor With Silk Plants

When it comes to using plants of any kind, you need to consider several things to make it a success. Things to consider are (1) size (2) color (3) fullness (4) live or artificial. Overall, the big question is: do you want to maintain plants every week or do you want the elegant touch of plants without that weekly grind? If it is the latter, silk plants will give you long and beautiful service. For a kitchen table: silk floral arrangements around a foot-and-a-half size with bright colors normally work very well. Above cabinets: a silk variegated green mixed with solids can give an elegant touch.

In other rooms, such as family or living rooms, for a corner, you should consider silk trees that come within about 2 feet of the ceiling; and depending on what else you have close to that corner will determine the width that can be used. Silk floor plants in the sizes of 42” to 56” can be used next to a chair or nick-knack display piece. When using silk flower arrangements, be sure to use colors that will compliment other colors in the room. Your décor should have a smooth flow and a comfortable relaxing feeling to it.
