n-4322-wh-whUsing artificial flowers at weddings instead of cut flowers has a few pros and cons. Such things as the white wedding dress, the veil, and the church wedding can and have been debated over time. For the most part, those traditions have come back again and again. The using of silk flowers over the cut flowers have had some merit showing that with good reasons some things just make sense.

Primarily the brides really love to save all they can from that special day and cut flowers just have not been good for that. How many times have you seen the cut flowers sagging when they are not supposed to? By the reception time, the once beautiful cut flowers can be in sad shape.

The following are some reasons why silk wedding flowers are better than cut flowers:

1. Silk flowers are less expensive, traditionally saving a bride a large percentage of her cost for flowers.
2. Silk flowers last longer so the bride can finally save the wedding flowers.
3. Colors of Tulips, Silk Roses, and Orchids are much more predictable than live flowers making it easier to match bridesmaid dresses and wedding gowns.
4. Since silk flowers are a manufactured product, there are no worries about size or color variations.
5. You can prepare the artificial flowers ahead of time making it easier to deal with the last minute details for that special day.
6. If a few extra silk flowers are needed due to having an extra table or two at reception, it is not big a expense to order a few extra to begin with.
7. No matter what the season is, your favorite flower is always available in silk flowers.
8. No need to worry about variety because there are thousands of choices not matter what size or color is needed for that special day.
9. If you don’t want to keep the flowers, you have the ability to put them on eBay and sell what you have left over. Yes, I know that sounds odd, maybe, but it is there for those that want it.

10. Last but not least you can use the left over silk flowers to decorate gifts, greeting cards or make a nice silk wreath.

The web has many ways to use silk flowers and you will have fun with that after the big day.
