What a jolly time of the year! And a time that we sometimes feel like we don’t want it, yet when we get into the real meaning of being with family, we would not want to be without the holiday season. The part that helps us get that much needed spirit going is the decorating of our homes. We really do enjoy this part even though it is a little more work but it is well worth the time.

We bring out our decorations that we stored and find that they are still in great shape and ready to lift our spirits with their presence. I am sure glad they came up with the silk holiday floral and, of course, improved on them so much. One of the items that we are going to decorate this year is a large mirror hanging in the dining room. We think that with some simple silk garland, with color put around the outside of the mirror and a 20″ silk wreath put in the middle, that it will add a nice touch for our holiday dinner. It is the simple things in life that make some of the bigger differences. Have a great holiday season!
