Artificial flowers are so popular today and why is that? Silk flowers have become such a realistic item with the advances made in producing them. Time and time again I have caught myself having to take a much closer look to make sure they were not real.

I know that in my case and most of my friends, we just don’t have the extra time that it takes to care for the real flowers and then ending up 7 to 10 days later replacing them. It just takes to much time not to mention the cost of replacement of the real plants.

The making of silk flowers has become more sophisticated with materials over the last decade and they are making flowers that were thought impossible to make many years ago. They now have silk plants that are called “real touch”. That is a great name because when you touch them you are, in some cases, still not sure if they are real or not. Now that is good and we know that there are going to be more changes in the future to make silk plants look even better.
